Maintenance Tips for our Customers
Our lawns are made to look exactly like real grass, only much easier to maintain. Although it still requires some basic maintenance, you will no longer have to weed your lawn, water or fertilise it! Compared to natural turf Titan Turf requires very little maintenance.
An occasional rake with a plastic garden rake to remove leaves and debris will keep the turf looking in top condition.
Rain is your best cleanser. Rainfall gently cleans the turf fibres of dust, pollen and airborne pollutants in way that is difficult to duplicate in any other fashion. In areas where rainfall is scarce–or during prolonged periods of drought–an occasional water flush is beneficial to soak and thus cleanse the turf system. This procedure is recommended for all turf systems.
For cleaning spills and stains, it is recommended using a General Purpose Citrus cleaner or Hot Soapy Water.
For odours left behind by pets, we recommend using P-Off Bioenzymatic Spray. More information can be found here.
Routine maintenance generally includes keeping the surface clean of debris, especially that which may decay into the infill, and occasionally sweeping the fibers up to revitalise the appearance of the lawn. Synthetic Turf is a textile and does require maintenance.
